The teaching style is very different from that in France.
Indeed, compared to courses taught in France, the academic level is much lower.
It’s worth noting that there are many oral presentations to work on throughout the semester.
It is possible to arrange your schedule so that your courses are held over three days (of course, if the courses align with your program), giving you time to travel and explore the country.
The country is very affordable; a typical French budget is almost luxurious in Lithuania.
There are also many opportunities to travel since transportation is very accessible.
For example, a train trip across the entire country costs only €1.40, and the bus to Warsaw is €15.

For those staying in student apartments, all amenities are nearby.
The transportation system is a marvel of logistics and repurposing old vehicles by modernizing them with a networked system and real-time geolocation. It is truly one of the most impressive things about Lithuania.
Student life is great, and the Student Life Service is very active. The organizers are excellent for all types of parties and trips!
The main downside is in scientific education, as the academic level is much lower than in France.
This can be quite frustrating, as they do not follow international scientific conventions (most of the time, they use non-SI units, rarely use powers of 10, and the rules on rounding numbers and significant figures are often not respected).
