All EIL Côte d’Opale students make
a minimum of one semester abroad
(internship and/or study period).
A double degree course, the aim of which is to award both the EIL Côte d’Opale diploma and that of the host university.
EIL Côte d’Opale is developing and consolidating its partnerships to give students the opportunity to complete a dual degree program abroad as part of their third year of engineering studies. Students are integrated under the same conditions as students at the host institution. At the end of the program, students obtain both the EIL Côte d’Opale diploma and that of the partner institution.
Where to earn a double-diploma
Here you’ll find all the partnerships set up by EIL Côte d’Opale :
- Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) – Canada
- Université de Sherbrooke – Canada
- Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) – Canada
- Université de Laval – Canada
- École de technologie supérieure (ETS) – Canada
- Université des sciences et technologies de Hanoï (USTH) – Vietnam
- One or two semesters with one of our international partners
EIL Côte d’Opale is developing and consolidating its international partnerships to give students the opportunity to spend one or two semesters in or outside Europe as part of their second and/or third year of engineering studies. As part of an exchange program in Europe, students are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host institution (fees paid only at EIL Côte d’Opale), and benefit from the recognition of the study period towards the EIL Côte d’Opale diploma, thanks to ECTS credits.
Where to do an exchange
- Under ERASMUS+ agreements in Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Hungary, Italia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey
- Under the BCI program in Canada
- Under bi-lateral agreements in Australia, Algerian, Morocco, Benin, Canada, Georgia, Tunisia, Vietnam
- Gain international corporate experience
As companies evolve and globalize, tomorrow’s engineers need to be able to communicate in a foreign language, especially English. Engineers must be open-minded and familiar with the cultures of different countries. To prepare future engineers, our school’s engineering students are required to carry out an international assignment in a country other than their home country, lasting at least 1 semester.
A company database listing host companies abroad is available to students.
The allocation of these grants is managed by ULCO (https://www.univ-littoral.fr) via an allocation committee to which EILCO is invited.
